Overview

Intuit's Ecosystem and Lifecycle Marketing Team is looking for a fast moving, customer-focused full time employee to help develop best-in-class customer lifecycle early retention campaigns. Using customer data, insights and marketing automation tools, this position will be responsible for creating and executing email, IPD and push notifications that engage, retain and delight our Small Business customers throughout their lifecycle. What you'll bring

  • Email marketer with 7+ years' experience in b2c or b2b email and/or mobile marketing.
  • Lifecycle marketing strategist who has successfully planned and learned from executing and measuring complex, automated life-cycle campaigns for SaaS products
  • Curiousity and energy for digging into customer retention experience, data and creative to explore opportunities for improvement in big, bold ways that improve customer retention.
  • Self starter; proactive learner; solutions oriented mindset
  • Ability to drive projects forward with confidence, curiousity and strategic partnership even in the face of incomplete data and ambiguity
  • Exceptional executional and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects & priorities
  • Understanding of email creative best practices and how to articulate them as part of creative feedback and design direction or when evaluating campaign performance
  • Passion and ability to be agile in campaign development, execution and delivery of results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand data sources, data mapping, campaign logic, and campaign performance (ROI analysis and recommendations)
  • Passion for campaign experimentation required
  • Use of digital marketing tools a plus
  • Marketing automation experience (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot) a plus

How you will lead

Execute lifecycle marketing programs from start to finish, including:

  • Identify key customer insights and data needed to construct effective lifecycle strategies. Assess and develop strategies to address key business problems in the customer lifecycle – e.g., design multi-channel campaigns to drive customers to the Aha moment, increase their engagement with a product, and increase usage, conversion, retention, revenue and unit growth
  • Identify the key performance metrics or indicators to measure success, both leading and lagging indicators.
  • Plan and manage end to end process of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, direct mail, push, sms, and in-product discovery.
  • Critically evaluate and size impact of addressing business problems with segments, audiences and cohorts and the potential impact of various strategies.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders and partners teams (e.g. Segment Marketers, Product Managers, Data Ops, Analytics, Creative & Deployment Agencies) to deliver an awesome customer experience.
  • Own the end-to-end deliverables, deadlines and measurement of customer IPD, push notification and email/marketing automation campaigs.
  • Recommend test plans to measure incremental lift of the lifecycle strategies including A/B and model driven testing. Analyze results along with analyst and recommend optimization opportunities.
  • Write creative briefs. Manage creative development with copy writer, designer and programmers.
  • Build and ensure on-time detailed program schedules - from kick off to tracking codes to legal/compliance review to deployment and results tracking, including managing stakeholder expectations and communicating out project timelines.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations team to document requirements required to bring strategies to launch phase.
  • Other sample activities may include: Plan and manage end to end process of direct mail campaigns – including strategy, creative development and management of print and fulfillment vendors. Set-up, test/QA email campaigns
